Reasons to love it – and reasons not to

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was hot with plenty of choices that pleased my family. Plus, the decor was festive even after the holidays.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was confusing due to reservation issues, which led to an unanticipated charge. Also, the cleanliness was inconsistent, needing more attention to detail.

The Holiday Inn Express Forest City had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm colors and comfortable seating areas that made it easy for me, as a senior, to relax and feel at home during my stay.

We enjoyed a restful 4-night stay in the spacious Standard Queen Room. The bed was comfortable, perfect after a long day. However, I found the bathroom floor needing a deep clean. Don't miss the hot breakfast. it was a fantastic start to each day. Aldi nearby is handy for snacks!

The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy with nice soft sheets. Loved all the lamps and especially the one in the headboard. A mini fridge and microwave were handy too. The bathroom had great water pressure. A bit loud at night with traffic and the fridge made knocking sounds, but overall it was a cozy stay.
